Roscoe, civil and structural engineers
15th September 2022

Work has started on site for the new £18m Headquarters for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services. Roscoe are supporting the Main Contractor Willmott Dixon on the redevelopment project, which also includes the construction of a new training arena, conferencing facilities and a new Fire Station, leading to a much more efficient and effective way of working for staff.

Demolition of the existing buildings is underway and will be followed by a grouting exercise to stabilise significant mineworking’s across the site. Construction of the new structures is to begin in early 2023 with the work on the new HQ building expected to complete in 2024.
