Today, we caught our first glimpse of the steelwork frame emerging at Halifax Bus Station.
The frame will support a modern, glazed structure that will sit alongside the existing Listed Sion Chapel, which is also being refurbished as part of the project.
The overall redevelopment project will provide additional capacity, improved passenger facilities, and a range of environmentally friendly features such as measures to enable the future introduction of electric bus charging points, bike parking and solar panels, and a living roof.
Construction work is expected to continue until summer 2023 and Roscoe are proud to be working as part of the project team including:
Main Contractor: Wilmott Dixon
Steel Fabricator: Elland Steel
Architect: SGP
