Monk Bridge residential development in Leeds complete

Monk Bridge, a £106m new build apartment scheme in Leeds city centre has completed and handed over to City Developments Limited. Roscoe provided civil and structural engineering services for the development which consists of five blocks, ranging from 12 storey to 26 storey and has created 665 new homes on a dormant brownfield site.

As well as the apartments, new communal areas have been created, including two private dining rooms, resident lounges, pocket parks and an outdoor events space. The development is one of the most significant build-to-rent schemes in Leeds, with the 20 arches from the adjacent Grade-II listed Victorian viaduct also being converted to provide space for retail and hospitality businesses.
